SLM exhibits at "La Parenthèse"
The artist SLM from Villeneuve presents some of her artworks at the tea-room "La Parenthèse" located 1, rue de Pujols, "above" the River Lot. To have a drink and at the same time discover the distinctive and delicate art of SLM in a very pleasant place: "An alliance of lines, features, shapes and colors" in complete freedom, pure art summarized in the credits of the “Rainbow” exhibition, a real rainbow of trees, city architecture, horizons ... This is what is offered by the hostess welcoming SLM, a unique artist, until March 3 on opening days and hours of the tea-room. SLM evolves in a wide range of creations: oil, pastel, sanguine, charcoal, pencil, watercolor on various formats. SLM is welcomed at La Parenthèse, a tea room in Villeneuve-sur-Lot, the city where she lives.
The place is nice, intimate and welcoming. The room overlooks the river Lot and offers a breathtaking view of the vast and calm river.
The walls host four large colorful paintings of the artist’s Rainbow series (Violet; Yellow; Orange; Red). Then vertically and horizontally, unusual and interesting formats offer modern lines of trees (Arbres Rouges, Arbres Jaunes, Arbres Verts) and horizons (Horizon 3). Last, two square canvases (Mosaïque 01, Mosaïque 08) show urban architectures, thus mixing art and reality when you look up to the picture rails and gaze out of the windows towards the city.
The artist thanks her guests for their warm welcome and invites you to the Salon where tea and exhibition mix harmoniously.
