Artists' "foam" at La Baignoire
Alternative cultural associations get together to share their arts at 27 rue Kleber.
Upon stepping inside, the bath is warm. Getting into the tub is not difficult. The route is signposted to the door. La Baignoire is accessible to all and the reception is great. In this bubble bath of artists, there is a smile for everyone and artistic works in abundance.
Local ArteFact, a poly-artistic Association, is hosted at 27 rue Kléber. Three years ago they were at the Old Village and had been homeless since. La Baignoire was opened earlier this year and should be emptied at the Foire des Artistes in late June, spreading and dispersing its flow of works. Exhibitions of all kinds are continuously revealed under the gaze of visitors. The works are carried out by the members of the Association, fifty of them. One way to get into the bath is to show and sell their productions.
Whether sculptures, paintings, photographs, art installations or messages that are explicitly political, everyday objects that are customized, there is something for everyone in this joyous bric-a-brac. For most, the works are made using recycled materials, wood, plastic bottles, caps, etc. These are also environmental messages.

Besides exhibitions, workshops and animations give a stir in the still and cheerful water of the bath and make this place even more festive.
On Mondays, a workshop for children aged 7 to 10 organizes paper collage, paint and ink on the theme "Tell me a story." Workshops for all on Tuesdays, creating couture (bring equipment, if possible). On Wednesdays, creation of bas-reliefs in compressed paper. Every Wednesday and Saturday, creative workshop of mosaics with Zaza. Not to mention Friday evenings, kicking off the weekend with aperitifs animated from 7 p.m. onwards.
